The group provides a forum for the dissemination and sharing of managerial good practice and works in partnership with the Dental Schools Council on strategies and policies of significance to dentistry in the UK.
The Education Committee (DSCEC)
The Education Committee collaborate to share best practice in dental education and training. The Committee is composed of the heads of dental education from member dental schools. As Education Leads, they manage the curricula within their schools and ensure that graduates are able to meet the needs of their future roles as dentists.
The Assessment Alliance (DSCAC)
The Assessment Alliance work under the Education Committee to improve undergraduate assessment practice. Its aim is to ensure the confidence of the public, employers and the regulator in the quality of dental school graduates.
