An update on DSC’s position on assessments

Assessment informs student progression through Dental and Dental Care Professional programmes that leads to eligibility for General Dental Council (GDC) registration. This is an essential part of ensuring individuals meet all the relevant GDC learning outcomes over their programme. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic the planned pattern of assessments has been disrupted.  Students can expect that future assessments will be modified to ensure complete coverage and attainment of all GDC learning outcomes prior to successful programme completion.  These modifications will be School and programme specific.
