New guidance on volunteering for dental and dental care professional students
The Dental Schools Council has today issued a Statement of Expectation for dental and dental care professional students who wish to volunteer during the pandemic.
This statement acknowledges that in the current climate there is no urgent need for student volunteers in clinical settings. It outlines that the first responsibility of students is to their continuing education and sets out broad principles students should follow when making arrangements to volunteer.
